Opening higher education opportunities for underrepresented people.

University of Technology Sydney (UTS)’s UniReady enabling program seeks to open the doors to university for historically underrepresented students of ANY age (17+) who are either First Nations or who have experienced financial disadvantage.

The program is designed to prepare you for undergraduate study at UTS. Building on your existing strengths and successes, UniReady will help you better understand the university environment and its expectations, as well as help you develop your academic literacy and research skills.

UniReady is FREE for those who are offered a place. The program takes place over 12-weeks, including on-campus teaching time and out-of-class study time. Students who successfully complete the program will be offered a place in an undergraduate degree at UTS.

Find out more about the program and how to apply on the UTS UniReady web page. In addition, the UTS Centre for Social Justice & Inclusion is hosting a free online information session about the program on 1 October 2025.
