A celebration of excellence in the financial inclusion space

The NSW Financial Inclusion Network was delighted to host the 2nd Financial Inclusion Awards at the 4th Financial Inclusion Conference dinner, held on 16 February 2022.

Thanks to our Dinner Sponsors, Panthera Finance and NAB, for their support in bringing this event to life. Thanks also to our inspiring conference master of ceremonies Glenn Sorensen who once again took to the stage and made this night a success.

Four winners took out the Financial Inclusion Awards over four categories. Congratulations once again to the 2022 winners:

  • The True Grit Award for not-for-profit and community sector organisation was awarded to Bridge Housing for their Hand Up program.
  • The Team Champions Award for corporate organisations and collaborative teams was awarded to ANZ and Brotherhood of St Laurence for the Saver Plus program
  • The Game Changer Award for innovation in the financial inclusion space was awarded to Wagestream Australia.
  • The Pinnacle Award for individual contribution was awarded to Aunty Betty Weule AM.

Well-known singer and stage performer Rachael Beck dazzled us with some favourite Hollywood-themed songs over dinner, and the hugely fun and sparkly Jellybean Jam band provided more entertainment well into the night.

The dinner and awards night was aimed to showcase some of the outstanding programs, hard work and innovation happening in the sector. Thank you to everyone who nominated, attended and supported the event.

Here are some of the pictures from the evening.
