Continuing professional development for financial counsellors
Get CPD points at the conference
Financial counsellors must participate in CPD activities to maintain their state or territory association membership. The National Standards requirement for CPD is 20 points a year.
In New South Wales, the required number of CPD points to maintain professional association membership is determined by Financial Counsellors’ Association of NSW (FCAN).
FCAN has determined that financial counsellors registered in NSW can accrue up to 4.5 CPD points at the conference:
- Concurrent sessions 1a, 1b or 1c (1.5 CPD points)
- Concurrent sessions 2a, 2b or 2c (1.5 CPD points)
- Concurrent sessions 3a or 3b (1.5 CPD points)
